AiNB is already during years trying to get the title of interior architect recognized in Belgium. So far AiNB has introduced a request on political level and will take steps again in 2012 now that our government is taking on it's work again. Not only we need this protection for the interior architects themselves, but also consumers desperately contact AiNB as they don't know anymore how to be sure of quality. AiNB demands the recognition of the title and protection of all master interior architects.
We will certainly cmmunicate further steps as soon as possible.

Interior Educators (U.K.) International Conference on the re-use and re-design of buildings in contemporary settings
Thursday 29th and Friday 30th March 2012
The history of design has traditionally been a story of new ideas, new theories and, above all, new construction. However, today, the developed world is on the cusp of a new era. The financial crisis, the sustainability movement and the conservation agenda are all leading to ever more alterations of existing buildings and ever fewer new build projects. This new condition will have major consequences for all those involved in the design of the built environment both now and in the future.
